Historically, the church has been the place where spiritual leaders were identified, trained and then affirmed. The education that is received at Institutions and Seminaries is a great foundation upon which a young man can gain insight into historical and theological truths of Christianity, they can also give young men training in Hebrew and Greek, but they cannot train men in practical ways to serve the church. They cannot show them how to lead well, shepherd well, and care well, to be the church. Only the church can do this. The elders of Great Plains have taken the fundamentals used for hundreds of years in training leaders and have made them our own.
